KERRYN DU RAND
I grew up in Durban where I spent most of my childhood playing in the sun and where my intense love of the ocean was founded. In my early teens my family moved to Irvine, Orange County for two years. Those years were very special to me as I made friends to last a lifetime, fuelled my love of acting, singing, and the arts, and broadened my worldview and understanding of people tremendously, however, there will never be a place on earth that can compare to home.
I’d always dreamed of becoming an actress or a model but was way too shy to pursue it in my high school years. I studied somatology and make up after school and got involved in modeling through a Charlize Theron lookalike competition that was run in 2004. I moved to the U.K in 2005 where I worked horrible office jobs and modeled for two years before returning to Durban. I like to view those years as character-building. lol.
In April 2008 I moved to Joburg with one of my closest friends and have loved every minute of living in this beautiful vibrant city! I am currently working as a make-up artist and model as well as completing a degree in Communication Science. I have a great love of art and am currently into mosaic, however I have always loved sketching and painting.
Like any woman, I love fashion but I have a particular weakness for beautiful bikinis and lingerie. I can’t get enough! I also enjoy baking and cooking, theatre, singing, pilates, taebo, travel, and anything involving sunshine, water, and pina coladas.
