When people think Mercedes and they think Mercedes Museum, they'd probably say that you'd find it somewhere in Germany. In their minds it would be situated in the biggest city hub known to man and it would be a towering building with nothing around it as not to obstruct its omnipotent presence. We expected that too...but what we got actually blew our minds.
As we drove into the town of Stuttgart, things seemed kind of out of place. There were no gigantic buildings or colosal factories. It was merely a serene little town that had the makings of a closed community. That was until we noticed the street names. Mercedes Benz Street was the first one that caught our eye and as we rounded the corner we saw why. In between the giant oak trees there gazed a silver mirage at us. An architectural masterpiece that personified an entire lifetime of innovation and discovery.
We had come to the right place...that was for sure. For here is not only where the first car was made, but where it still resides today. In Stuttgart...the birthplace of Mercedes Benz.
